LL.B. LL.M. F.R.A.S. – Artificial Lighting Specialist
Principal Lecturer in Law at De Montfort University Leicester and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I specialise in the legal aspects of obtrusive light, especially those relating to nuisance and the natural environment. To this end I have published in this field and I act as a consultant legal/policy adviser for various bodies. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the International Dark-sky Association (the world body aiming to address obtrusive light).
